If you see our app running in your system tray, right-click on it, and choose Disconnect (Info: The system tray is the list of icons on the bottom right of your screen on the left of the clock. Make sure the VPN software is not running: The following is the solution that the tech provided me which has worked so far for several weeks (sorry that it's very poorly formatted as I copy and pasted the relevant bit of the email on my tablet, but you should be able to follow along): Previously, I had reinstalled the driver, which didn't solve the issue, and then I uninstalled and reinstalled the program, which also didn't fix the issue, but when I uninstalled the program and uninstalled the driver before reinstalling the program, everything was fixed. Essentially, it seemed to boil down to a corruption in the software that was only able to be fixed buy both uninstalling PIA and the TAP driver before reinstalling the software. After a lot of emailing back and forth and speaking to two separate support people, my issue was resolved.
